We use Ramp virtual Visa cards for team travel, department expenses, perks and benefits expense stipends, and other work-related expenses. The Operations team will issue you a card before a planned expense, but you can request a new card through the Ramp portal if needed. If you can’t access Ramp, ask for an invitation from @Sarah Tessier and she will issue you a card within 48 hours.

Can I use a virtual card in-store?

You may be able to use a virtual card in-store, depending on the retailer’s payment system. The easiest method is to add it to your digital wallet (such as Apple Pay or Google Pay).

How to request a new card

You can request a card through Ramp's website or their mobile app in seconds.

  1. Log in and click the yellow "Request Spend" button in the top right corner.

  2. You can choose between a "New Request" or a card from the various programs the operations team has set up:
