Becoming a B Corp means being accountable to high standards for how we treat our people, our communities, and the planet. Essentially, being a B Corp means putting people and the planet above profits. 🌿

It’s a third-party verification that positions us as we grow as a values-led organization. We started this journey in 2022, and after 13 months of review, we earned our certification in early 2024.

This certification helps signal what we stand for and connects us with team members, customers, and partners who share our values.

🌱 Tracking our Carbon Footprint

Scope 2 emissions assessment

As a remote company, our emissions story is a little different. We don’t operate traditional offices, so our carbon tracking focuses on the energy used to power our distributed team—specifically, the electricity used to heat, cool, and run our team’s home workspaces.

In 2024, as part of our B Corp certification, we completed a Scope 2 emissions assessment based on regional electricity data and a standard home office footprint of 100 square feet per team member.

Our 2024 snapshot:

We’re not focused on offsetting emissions, which we’ve already avoided by working remotely. Instead, we track and share what remains, giving our team and customers a clear picture of our footprint.

In 2025, we’ve expanded this to include emissions from our annual company meetup, including air travel, accommodation, and local transport. This gives us a better understanding of our impact and where it comes from.
