Unpaid Time Off (UPTO) is an option available to team members who have depleted their Paid Time Off (PTO) balance and wish to take additional time off beyond their allotted annual PTO. It is important to note that if you are planning on taking an extended period of time off through UPTO it must be discussed and agreed with your manager to ensure feasibility and smooth workflow management.

🇺🇸  US Team Members booking UPTO is a 2-step process:

  1. Schedule the UPTO in Float & wait for approval.
  2. Add it to your Rippling profile.

🌏  Contractor Team Members booking UPTO is a 1 step process:

  1. Schedule the PTO in Float & wait for approval.
  2. Reach out to Sarah if you need help pro-rating your invoice for the month you took UPTO.
