That’s why we are happy to offer a monthly health insurance stipend of $500 USD to all team members between 60% and 100% capacity.

<aside> 💡 Your contract must be at 60% or more capacity to qualify for the Health Care Stipend. You still qualify if you are on temporary leave or have reduced capacity for family or compassionate leave but have a full-time contract.

🌍 Global Contractor Team

Since there’s no flexible Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) provider for global teams, you can choose your own insurance provider that fits your region. You can pay for your insurance using a Ramp Virtual Visa, which has a $500 USD monthly limit.

Proof of coverage must be emailed to [email protected]. Receipts should be uploaded to Ramp or, if you’re not using a Ramp card, emailed to [email protected] for all transactions.

Steps to receive your stipend:

  1. New to Ramp? DM Sarah to get an invite and set up your Ramp account setup.
  2. Already have an insurance plan? Email Sarah at [email protected] with proof of insurance (only needed once a year or at renewal).
  3. Using Ramp? Pay your insurance premium with your Ramp Visa and upload the receipt to the Ramp portal each month. You can email the receipt to [email protected] using your Float email address.
  4. Ramp not accepted? Add the expense to your monthly invoice for reimbursement and email your receipts into [email protected].

🇺🇸 US Team

We offer a $500 monthly stipend for health insurance through Take Command.

How It Works:

  1. Check your Float email for an invite to Take Command.
  2. Log in and select your option:
  3. Make your selection by the 10th of the previous month (e.g., select by November 10th for December 1st coverage).
  4. Pay for your plan, and we’ll reimburse the $500 stipend via payroll in your next paycheck.
