The 4x4 competency framework

To keep our approach simple and scalable, we use a 4x4 methodology—four main categories, each with four competencies, totalling 16 competencies. The four main categories are:

Each category is designed to support our mission and values and strategic goals.

Rather than creating a separate framework for people managers, we integrated people management competencies into the core model. This way, everyone shares a common foundation, while people management skills are accounted for where they’re relevant.

Definition

Execution is at the heart of what we do. Every role at Float involves execution, and this will continue to be a core strategy. Execution involves being accountable, proactive, and maintaining high standards in delivering results.
